Almost

So a coworker spots me in the hallway at work today and says, “Hey Tait!  I almost invited you to a Halloween party we had on Tuesday“.  I was like, “OK - thanks for almost inviting me.  I almost went.”

I mean, how often does this happen in life?  Am I missing something where it’s now ok to tell people how they were almost important enough to include in your life?  “Hey, Tom and Jill - our wedding was great!  We almost invited you!  Bye!“… “Hey, I had a big stack of money just sitting around - I almost gave it to you.  Instead, I gave it to Bob.”

I almost didn’t write this blog.  But I did.
